Geneva & Pays de Gex
Plan. Design. Coordinate. So the day belongs only to you.
A singular place to live, and a wedding to match
Geneva is a city of arrivals and attachments. International organisations, CERN, corporate headquarters: many couples build their life here without having roots or family nearby. Their wedding brings together guests from several countries, sometimes several continents.
That wedding cannot be planned like any other. Suppliers sit on both sides of the border. Guests land at the airport and need to be housed, welcomed and driven. The ceremony is sometimes held in two languages.
We are based in the Pays de Gex, minutes from Geneva. Close enough to attend every venue visit, and rooted enough in the region to know the places, the craftspeople and the customs on both sides of the border.
Planning a wedding and giving it a visual identity are two distinct skills
Maria Tassi-Trimoulla founded Maria'ge & Events and created the Pays de Gex Wedding Fair in 2009 and 2010. Knowledge of the ground, the suppliers and the things that go wrong — and a network built over years, on both sides of the border.
What couples ask us most
Yes. We are based in the Pays de Gex, minutes from Geneva, and we support weddings on both sides of the border. That proximity is exactly what lets us attend venue visits and supplier meetings in person.
The planner organises: venues, suppliers, budget, timeline, coordination. The designer creates the visual world: staging, palette, materials, light. We do both, which spares you having to make two providers agree.
Yes, it is common. Venue scouting, supplier selection and approvals happen remotely, through calls and written updates. You arrive for your wedding, not to set it up.
Yes. We build the running order and brief everyone involved so a bilingual celebration flows, and no family sits through it as a spectator.
With a first conversation, by phone on +33 6 77 38 26 31 or through the contact form. We discuss your plans, dates and budget, then send you a proposal. No commitment.
One conversation is enough to know whether we are the right people to guide you.
